报告摘要： Schubert polynomials were introduced by Lascoux and Schutzenberger as polynomial representatives of Schubert classes in the cohomoloy ring of the Flag Manifold . They have serverd as the main combinatorial tool in the stuty of Schubert Calculus on flag manifolds. In this talk, we shall focus on two inequalities about the coefficients (called generalized Kostka numbers) of Schubert polynomials: one is the log-concavity property discovered by Huh, Matherne, Meszaros and St. Dizier, and the other is the "top-heavy" property.
This is based on joint work with Neil Fan and Rui Xiong.
报告人简介：郭龙，南开大学组合数学中心教授，博士生导师。2006年于山东大学获学士学位，2011年于南开大学获博士学位。研究方向是代数组合学，工作主要集中在对称函数、Schubert演算、多面体的组合理论，受到包括Fields奖获得者以及ICM报告人等学者的关注和引用。
